Foursquare celebrates 80 years, hosts Kingdom Force

Kingdom Force, a Christian ministry group from Elim Bible Institute, will be featured at the Newton Foursquare Church during its regular morning worship service beginning at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. The church also will be celebrating its 80th anniversary in Newton by honoring two charter members, Newton residents Juanita Shoemake and Aletha Woody.

The public is invited to attend. Kingdom Force is a team of Elim Bible Institute (EBI) graduates who minister under the direction of the EBI Ministry Department. The team travels around the U.S. ministering in churches, schools, colleges, camps and special events utilizing multimedia, drama, preaching, worship, dance, creative interaction and one-on-one ministry to challenge teens and adults to live radically for Jesus Christ. Newton native Donne Black (above right) is a member of Kingdom Force.
