Primetime Fellowship
Ron Nearmyer welcomed 59 Primetimers and visitors to the Nov. 16 potluck meal and program.
Dick Bergeson led devotions using Proverbs and challenged all to begin each day reading one chapter and in a month complete one book of the Bible. Dick closed with prayer and the blessing of the food provided by all.
The tables were decorated, reminding us of America’s first Thanksgiving, by Janice Lyman and Gladys Harris. Hosts were Ellen Nearmyer, Jan Robertson, Marlene Waddle and Jack and Vicki Horn filling in for Larry and Judy Bell, absent due to illness. Our prayers for Larry’s speedy recovery.
November birthdays: Robertson, Pastor Cory Stout, Richard Bishop (91), Chuck Harris and Bob Baarda. Anniversaries: Gar and Bert Doane (67 years), Duane and Lisa Blommers (28), and Chuck and Gladys Harris (46). First time visitors: Betty Breckenridge, Fred and Bonnie Simons, Violet Bakalar and Doug and Kathy Carpenter. Door prizes went to Jon Woody, Floretta Cobler, Lyman and Jodi Burr. Lisa Blommers and Craig Schwartz presented a heart warming musical program.
Starting in December and continuing through March, the Primetime potlucks (always the third Monday of month) will be at noon followed with games. If you have a favorite game share it with us. Weather conditions uncertain, and cancelation notices will be announed on KCOB.
