‘Friday Night Fights’ in Newton on Nov. 27

The Cedar Valley Fighting Association returns to Newton on Friday, Nov. 27, with another edition of “Friday Night Fights.”

This event will be the biggest event that the CVFA has ever brought to Newton. It features some of the top fighters in the CVFA as well as the top fighters in the Newton area.

Set to compete will be undefeated local fighter Randy Meyer of Newton. Also fighting will be local favorite Wes Barton, Aubrey Bailey, Chris Tish and Preston McConnell.

There also will be an amateur sign up division in which local competitors can sign up to compete. Interested participants must be at the VFW between 5 to 7 p.m. the night of the fights to register,

Advance tickets are $15 and are available at the VFW.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the first fight set to start at 8.
