NHS After Prom homemade pie, coupon sale set for weekend

The Newton Senior High School After Prom Committee will be selling Hy-Vee coupon books for $5 each on Friday, Saturday and Nov. 25 and Dec. 18, 19 and 23 at Hy-Vee.

The committee and students also will be making semi-homemade pies at Hy-Vee on Friday and Saturday and Dec. 18 and 19. The pies will be sold as they are made, and samples will be available and the pies can be purchased either baked or non-baked. All proceeds will go toward the after-prom activities, providing a safe, alcohol and drug free environment for students.
