Jeff McVay and Erin Karsten, both of Newton, announce the birth of their son, Christopher James McVay, on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lyle G Karsten of Newton, Mr. and Mrs. Gary McVay of Newton, Donna McFarland of Newton and Tim Smith of Newton.
Great-grandparents are Janice Koontz of Ft. Meyers, Fla., Marcella Karsten of Newton and Mr. and Mrs. Bob McVay of Newton.
