Blood drive 
on Saturday

The Prairie City and Monroe communities will host a blood drive from 7:15 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday in the Methodist Church fellowship hall in Prairie City.

To be eligible to donate blood, a person must be at least 16 years old, in general good health and weigh at least 120 pounds.

The blood drive is sponsored by the Lions Club and Oddfellows. For more information, call (515) 994-3008.
