Newton hoops bringing back kid’s Cardinal Club

The Newton Cardinal varsity boys and girls basketball teams will once again be having Cardinal Club this year.

The club is open to boys and girls in grades second through sixth and it runs each Monday from Nov. 16 through Dec. 21. The second and third graders will meet from 6 to 7 p.m., while the fourth, fifth and sixth graders will hit the courts from 7 to 8 p.m.

The club will focus on basketball fundamentals and techniques.

Registrations can be dropped off at the Newton YMCA or delivered the first night of Cardinal Club.
