Michael Wesley Coonts, 52, of Newton died on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at his home in Newton.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet family and friends immediately following the memorial service with a coffee time at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton.

Memorials in Michael’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa of Newton; two sisters, Vicky (Scott) Mulbrook of Newton and Connie Smith of Newton; and his nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents.
