Honor Flight a memorable one for county vets

The trip, which allowed another 14 veterans from Jasper County to visit the monuments in our nation’s capital, was sponsored by Hy-Vee. Doug Bishop, adjutant at the American Legion post in Newton, said fund-raising efforts are under way for another Honor Flight in the spring.
