Wesley Smith and Kayla Dunbar of Newton announce the birth of their daughter, Addyson Nichole Smith, born Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Grandparents are Paula Smith of Newton and Gary Smith of Monroe.

Great-grandparents are Roy and Mary Thomasson of Mitchellville and Majorie Smith of Monroe.
