Church celebrating 50 years

Members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Newton will be marking the church’s 50th anniversary with a special celebration on Sunday, Nov. 1.

Worship services will begin at 10:15 a.m. and will be followed with a potluck lunch and entertainment from local quartet Sounds of Inspiration and Judy Richmond, who will perform as “Cousin Annie.”

The public is invited to attend the events.
