Milo W. Hartwig

Milo Wayne Hartwig, 87, of Shell Rock, Iowa, died on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at the Shell Rock Care Center in Shell Rock.

Milo is survived by  two children, Gary (Bobbi) Hartwig of Hudson, Iowa and Linda Sorg of Newton, Iowa; four grandchildren, Jared Hartwig, Jordan (Erin) Hartwig, Ryan (Darlene) Foust and Eric Foust; a great-grandson, Jackson Foust; and a special friend, Fern Noel of Waverly, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy; a grandson, Kyle Foust; and a son-in-law, Bob Sorg. 

Funeral services will be on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Shell Rock United Methodist Church in Shell Rock. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Shell Rock. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Shell Rock. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hopice in Waverly or to the Shell Rock American Legion.
