Workers at DeLong Sportswear in Grinnell eligible for assistance
WASHINGTON — Senator Chuck Grassley today said that workers from DeLong Sportswear in Grinnell are eligible to apply for Trade Adjustment Assistance.
“This assistance will help provide training and new skills to these workers so they can get back on their feet and compete for new jobs in the future,” Grassley said.
Workers from DeLong Sportswear’s Warehouse and Support Facility, Corporate Office and Manufacturing Facility in Grinnell who totally or partially lost their jobs on or after June 30, 2008, through two years from the date of certification, are eligible to apply for adjustment assistance.
Workers can access these benefits by going to the local one-stop career center.
