Blood drive on Sept. 15 in Kellogg

The Kellogg Lions Club and Richland Grange of Killduff are hosting a blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Cabin in Holmdahl Park in Kellogg.

The Blood Center of Iowa may be contacted online at www.bloodcenterofiowa.org for those who would like to make an appointment, or residents may call chairperson Marilyn Berthelsen at (641) 526-3287 to schedule an appointment.

The donation of a unit of blood may be the difference between life and death for as many as four people who receive the components, and this time of year, following the holiday, supplies are always low. Those who sign up to donate are encouraged to keep their appointments.
